End of week 4 saw the completion and management of a second workshop under the direction of the FYP coordinator.
OBJECTIVE
1. A summary of the thesis and proposal formats.
METHODOLOGY
This week's meeting focused on how to write a thesis and proposal, especially for chapters one through three, which are about the opening, literature review, and methods. Coordinator had given very detailed information on how to write a good thesis. He also talked about what had to be in the thesis for it to meet the conditions of a degree FYP project. This week was also the last week that the FYP title could be claimed. I had my title, "DEVELOPMENT OF SOLAR-POWERED VERTICAL FARMING WITH IOT" filed.
DISCUSSION/RESULT
The first three chapters were the subject of this week's session. In addition, I provided a wealth of tips on report writing, which helped some students gain clarity as they prepared reports for their capstone courses.
ANALYSIS
Since the focus of the workshop was on the first three chapters of a report and the proposal style, students should be able to learn a great deal about writing a report from this week's training.
CONCLUSION
Significant information concerning the final year project report, the criteria for the report to be approved at the degree level, and the significant dates for this semester will be covered in the workshops; thus, it is imperative that students attend all of the planned workshops.
